Surfside

The kids have been asking to go to the beach since we moved back to Texas. We weren't really able to squeeze in a beach day in Taiwan so we took the kids this last weekend. We went down to Surfside. The beaches were crowded, but we still had alot of fun.

Daddy missed a few spots on Katelyn's legs when he applied suncreen so she got a little bit sunburned. Katelyn was also afraid of the water, but she really enjoyed playing in the sand. Joseph got in the water some, but he wasn't too anxious to go too far out. Audrey, our little miss daring, went out pretty far with Daddy.

After we left Surfside, we headed up to Clearlake to visit our friends. They have a little boat they bought that they are renovating. It was a nice little boat-house. It looks like they have done alot of work on it. We ate dinner at a restaurant with a lakeview before heading home. All 3 kids were exhausted by the time we got home. 2 out of 3 were asleep before we even got home. It was a full day.
