It all started with Joseph. He woke up with a fever a couple of sundays ago. Then Audrey got sick...then Mommy...then Katelyn. This is the first week where everyone seems to be finally well. Luckily, Daddy didn't ever come down with whatever the rest of us had.
Since we were all feeling okay this week, we went with Daddy on a whirlwind trip to Dallas. Daddy was going to a dinner wednesday night and some meetings on thursday in Dallas. Mommy packed up the kids and we headed out wednesday afternoon. Yeh-Yeh met us in Denton so that Daddy could go straight to Dallas. We had a short, but fun visit.
Joseph got to play lots of games on Uncle Michael's X-Box. We also fed ducks at the park and played at the playground. Uncle Andrew left lots of Star Wars toys at Nai-Nai and Yeh-Yeh's so the kids enjoyed playing with those as well.
We were all sorry to leave so soon. Yeh-Yeh took us back to Denton thursday afternoon so we could meet up with Daddy again. We had dinner at the Cracker Barrel and then headed home. Poor kids had a rough time and were not happy about being in the car for hours again, but we made it home just fine.
Mommy was excited to see that the RAM Daddy ordered for the computer had arrived. Updating the computer from 200 MB of RAM to 2 gigs of RAM was a highly anticipated event. Mommy loves the new upgrade! It was like getting a new computer. Mommy had thought about it, but decided against it.
Mommy is also painting our cheap particle board furniture black. Mommy wanted a more pulled together look, but we aren't ready to get new furniture yet. We thought we might do more practical things like pay off the car.
